You verify an Urdu edition by reading the title page and the writer line, then matching that pair to one Lafzora URL. The filename is a weak signal. A folder named after the slug can still hold a different book.

How do I verify an Urdu book edition?
Open the first pages of the file. Match the Urdu title and the novelist to the Lafzora work URL. If both match, you have that edition. If either fails, reject the file for that URL. Size and host watermarks are weak. Identity is cheaper than hashing.
This is the edition layer on top of identify the writer. Writer tells you the person. Edition tells you whether this scan is that book.
Why is the filename a weak signal?
Because packs rename files to the query, not to the title page. hasil.pdf may be Umera Ahmed’s Hasil. A folder named khas-o-khashak-zamane may hold Waqt Mera Muhafiz. Lafzora keeps the mapped work URL even when the folder file is wrong, and it does not attach that wrong file.
A guide URL never hosts the novel PDF. After you verify, open the novel. Email contact@lafzora.com with the work URL if the attached file disagrees with page one.
Is Hasil Ghaat the same as Hasil?
No. Hasil Ghaat is Bano Qudsia. Hasil is Umera Ahmed. Open Hasil Ghaat for حاصل گھاٹ. Open Hasil for حاصل. Sharing the token “hasil” is how a searcher mounts the wrong scan. Filename hasil.pdf is not a merge rule.
La Hasil is a third Umera title. Three strings, three URLs. Edition check is the title page, not Google’s first PDF.
Is Akhir-e-Shab ke Humsafar the same as Humsafar?
No. Akhir-e-Shab ke Humsafar is Qurratulain Hyder. Humsafar is Farhat Ishtiaq. Open Akhir-e-Shab ke Humsafar for that Hyder scan. Open Humsafar for ہم سفر. A file named humsafar.pdf that opens Hyder still belongs on the Hyder URL, and the reverse is also true.
Qurrat-ul-Ain is a spelling heading on Hyder, not a second writer. Farhat’s serial is a different object from Farhat’s novel, but that fight lives on the drama guide.
What if a later file under the same name is the right book?
Re-read the title page. Attach only when writer and Urdu title match the mapped URL. A later khas-o-khashak-zamane.pdf that prints Mustansar Hussain Tarar and خس و خاشاک زمانے belongs on Khas o Khashak Zamane. A prior pack under that name was Waqt Mera Muhafiz. The URL never moved.
Open that work page for the attached Sang-e-Meel scan. Filename match is still a weak signal. Title page remains the cheap test.
Is Char Deewari the same as Saltanat-e-Dil?
No. Char Deewari is Shaukat Siddiqui. Saltanat-e-Dil is Farwa Khalid. A prior slug-named pack was Saltanat Dil by Areeb Shah (Kitab Nagri). A later matching Takhleeqkar scan attaches on Char Deewari. Open Saltanat-e-Dil for Farwa. Three objects.
Garbled OCR on the rejected file is still that rejected file. Noise is not a license to “fix” the writer line.
What if the title page and the URL disagree?
Keep the URL. Remove or withhold the file. Do not mint a duplicate slug. Process: rights and permissions. Send the Lafzora URL, the Urdu title on page one, and the writer line. Catalog desk: contact@lafzora.com.
